Weekend Intensive Retreat
June 11-15, 2009--Hendersonville, North Carolina: Ven. Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche conducted an extended weekend retreat in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The program started on Thursday evening with
“Milarepa: Magician, Murderer, Saint, Part I,”a movie about the first half of the life of a young man living in the 11th century who became Tibet’s greatest yogi and saint.
Rinpoche read preliminary translations of discourses given by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, including those from the recent "Trip to the East" series. She also held closed classes for her students on certain esoteric teachings and gave a workshop on how to set up a Dharma Center so as to make these preliminary translations and others available to non-Chinese speaking students. There were also Tai Chi and Yoga classes available for the students. Rinpoche also gave the Vajra-Bodhi Pill to certain attendees as seen here.
