The objectives of our Institute are to promote Master Wan Ko YeeÕs extraordinary achievements in the fields of Buddhism, Chinese culture, ethics, benevolence, literature, poetry, painting, calligraphy, music, medicine, medical science, science and technology.

Our Institute requests that all our members should actively participate in disaster and poverty relief all over the world. They should participate in charity activities in their own countries, as well as in other countries to assist the elderly, the sick, the weak, and the children. They should happily help other people as their basic practice and moral obligation.

Anyone who agrees to above stated objectives and has a fine moral character may voluntarily apply for membership in the Institute by filling out this ÒMembership Application Form.Ó Admittance as a member will be determined by the Board of Directors. All admitted members will be given a membership card or certificate.   

v  Membership Categories  v

a. Regular Member:

¤   Anyone who is qualified for above stated conditions may voluntarily apply to become a ÒRegular MemberÓ by filling out the ÒMembership Application FormÓ (copy attached).

¤   Annual membership fee is $50.

¤   Any new member who applies during the first-half year (01/01~06/30) shall pay full membership fee of $50; If applying during the second-half year (07/01~12/31), the member shall only pay $25. Annual membership fee is due on January 1st for the following years.

¤   When applying for regular membership, a new member needs to provide one 2x2 inches recent personal photo (passport style: front view and full face)

¤   The Institute will issue a membership card and renew annually for Regular Members.

b. Organization Member:

¤   Besides individual regular membership, the organization which regular members are attending may voluntarily apply to become an ÒOrganization MemberÓ by filling out the ÒOrganization Membership Application FormÓ (copy attached).

¤   Annual Organization membership fee is $100 or up.

¤   Any new organization member shall pay full membership fee regardless of the time the organization applies for the membership during the year. Annual membership fee is due on January 1st for the following years.

¤   If organization member has affiliates/branches, its affiliates/branches may also apply to become organization members; but only their parent organization (headquarters) needs to pay the annual organization membership fee every year. 

c. Permanent Member:

¤   Anyone who is qualified for above stated conditions may voluntarily apply for ÒPermanent MemberÓ status by filling out the ÒMembership Application FormÓ (copy attached).

¤   One-time Permanent membership fee is $2,500. The fee could be paid in full within half-year. The Institute will issue a certificate for Permanent Members.

d. Permanent Family Member:

¤   Anyone who is qualified as to the above stated conditions may voluntarily apply for ÒPermanent Family MemberÓ status by filling out the ÒMembership Application FormÓ (copy attached).

¤   One-time permanent family membership fee is $3,000. Membership fee could be paid in full within half-year  same as above. The Institute will issue a certificate for permanent family members.

Note: Permanent family members only include the applicant, applicantÕs spouse, and immediate family members (e.g., applicantÕs parents and children); but does not include applicantÕs siblings or any family members related by marriage (e.g., applicantÕs parents-in- law).

e. Honor Member: including the following two types

¤   Type I: Anyone who provides great contributions to the Institute, is referred by at least one Board of Director, and is approved by the InstituteÕs Board of Directors may be admitted as an ÒHonor Member.Ó (e.g., political, business, or other VIPs).

¤   Type II: Anyone who is qualified as per the above stated conditions and is referred by at least one Board of Director may voluntarily apply to become an ÒHonor MemberÓ by filling out the ÒMembership Application FormÓ (copy attached).  This type of honor member shall make a donation to the Institute of at least $10,000.

¤   For above Honor members, the Institute will issue a certificate.
