Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche, a close disciple of His Holiness, will read preliminary translations of discourses given by His Holiness and an essay from this book at various locations in the USA during 2009. WHEN & WHAT?
Saturday afternoon, October 10, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm, Ven. Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche will read from a recent translation of a sutra by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III entitled "A Monk Expounds the Absolute Truth to a Layperson." This sutra was written by His Holiness when He was only twenty years old at the request of the abbot of one of the largest and most famous temples in China, the Baoguang Si. This writing is a treatise on the truth of emptiness that provides a profound understanding of certain meditation principles.
