Dorje Chang Buddha Comes to Texas

October 29, 2008--San Antonio, Texas: Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche discussed the book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III at the Unitarian-Universalist Church in San Antonio. Rinpoche described the three bodies of a Buddha; the dharmakaya or vast formless mind of a Buddha; the sambhogakaya or bliss body of a Buddha that is only visible to holy ones; 
and the nirmanakaya or transformation body that is visible to most people. Shakyamuni Buddha and Dorje Chang Buddha are both examples of dharmakaya and nirmanakaya Buddhas.
October 31, 2008--Austin, Texas: The Lorenzo de Zavala State Archives and Library Building in Austin and the Faulk Central Branch of the Austin Public Library received copies of the treasure book from team members.


November 1, 2008--Austin, Texas: When Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche was asked during her presentation at Casa de Luz about the significance of the lineage chart shown here, she said, "It not only shows the lineages of the major sects of Buddhism, but it also shows that all the sects, whether they be of the Theravada, Mahayana, or Vajrayana tradition, originated with Dorje Chang Buddha." Part of the group that attended this presentation are shown continuing their discussion on the patio of Casa de Luz.


November 3, 2008--El Paso, Texas: Team members Yu Ying and Lama Puti Duxi present a copy of the book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III to El Paso Librarian John H. Faria. Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche is seen here leading the dedication of merit after a presentation at the El Paso Main Library on why and how H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha came to America.
The rinpoche also explained the four phases one goes through when following the path of esoteric Buddhism.
