Dorje Chang Buddha III Comes to Ohio

September 13, 2008--Columbus, Ohio: Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche gave a discourse on "Dorje Chang Buddha Is Living in America" to a group meeting at the Epworth Methodist Church on Karl Road in Columbus, Ohio. Several dharma wheel mandalas appeared on the photos taken of this event. This was after the rinpoche talked about the "Practices and Blessings Lineage" of the esoteric path of Buddhism and how you can follow that path.

The Team visited several Buddhist temples and dharma centers in Columbus including the Wat Lao Buddhmamakaram shown here under construction. Lama Hongxi Fazang discusses the book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III with a monk from a local Thai temple.

The Kagyu lineage tree at Karma Thegsum Choling, a Tibetan temple near downtown Columbus, shows a bright blue Dorje Chang Buddha as the central figure. The first patriarch of the Karma Kagyu Tradition, Master Tilopa, received tantric teachings directly from Dorje Chang Buddha as did the matriarchs of the Shangpa Kagyu, Lady Niguma and Lady Sukhasiddhi.
