Dorje Chang Buddha III Presented to Oklahoma City, OK, and Amarillo, TX

August 21, 2008--Oklahoma, OK: A diverse and enthusiastic group at the Ronald. J. Norick Downtown Library in Oklahoma City listened to Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche explain who Dorje Chang Buddha is and how we know He has come to America. She also told the group how they could follow the Buddha-dharma that could lead them to enlightenment. The rinpoche also responded to many questions about Buddhism in general. As at many of the previous presentations, the dharma wheel mandalas appeared on some of the photos taken at the meeting indicating that the mission was blessed by the presence of holy beings from another dimension.

Oklahoma City has several Buddhist temples who serve the families who have come here from the Southeast Asian countries of Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. The Abbot of Wat Lao Buddharam, a Laotian temple, is shown here with Lama Hongxi Fazang and again above with the other team members at the presentation. When the Team visited Wat Lao Buddharam, they found the book, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III displayed on the main altar of the temple as shown here.

The Thai temple, Wat Chairatanaram, has a large bodhi tree growing in its yard. This temple offers dharma to both its Thai community base and to non-Thai members. They offer meditation practice that is open to everyone, both early in the morning and in the evening.

The Team stopped at the Oklahoma City National Memorial to pray for the people who lost their lives as a result of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Zhengxiang Shi is shown walking in front of the memorial. A memorial fence that contains various tokens of love and remembrance can be seen behind her. The other part of the memorial is shown at the end of a reflecting pool that occupies what was once NW Fifth Street. A field of 168 chairs symbolizing the lives lost in the blast are shown on the right of the memorial.
