Dorje Chang Buddha III Comes to Kansas-II

August 24-25, 2008--Topeka, Kansas: The Dharma Propagation Mission Team distributed copies of the book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III to Governor Kathleen Sebelius and the Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library. Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche also addressed a gathering at the library, explaining basic principles of Buddhism and how and why H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha has come to this world. Rinpoche also told of the many accomplishments of His Holiness and how the greatest living Buddhists in the world had researched this to determine that Master Wan Ko Yee was in fact an incarnation of the primordial Dorje Chang Buddha and how blessed we all are to have a true Buddha living with us here in America. She explained that a Buddha is one who has achieved perfection and represents the ultimate in wisdom and compassion and that this attainment is possible for all living beings. We are all evolving toward buddhahood, whether we are aware of that fact or not, although the rate at which we progress may vary considerably. Her presentation ended with a brief summary of the steps one must follow to become enlightened in this lifetime and how one can enter this dharma.

August 26, 2008--Kickapoo Nation: The Team presented a copy of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III to the Kickapoo Nation and Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche retold the 8th century prophecy that the dharma (Buddha's teachings) would go to the land of the redman when iron birds flew and horses ran on wheels. When Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche was about to place a blessing kharda around the neck of Vivian Horse Looking, a dharma wheel mandala appeared in the window in back of them. After receiving the kharda and just before she received the book, four more mandalas appeared in the photo shown above on the left. Although these mandalas appeared at many of the other places where the book was presented, this was the only sighting of them in Kansas. This phenomena is not usually visible to the naked eye, but can sometimes be captured on photographs.
