Introduction
I have been extremely fortunate to receive oral transmissions of the Esoteric Buddhist Dharma directly from both my Buddha Master, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu, as well as the Female Dharma King Dorje Pa Mu and have access to many unpublished translations from the Chinese of their discourses that are not yet available in English. Because I am the only westerner to have this good fortune, I have also been granted the dispensation to write about certain of my experiences, even though one does not usually talk about these matters. Both dharma kings have been reluctant to publish translations of their words, since at the present time it is very difficult to correctly convey their true meaning in English. The transmission of all dharma and especially esoteric dharma requires very precise conformance to be effective.
Dorje Chang Buddha III came to this world to correct the translation and interpretation errors that currently exist in earlier transmissions of the dharma and to bring us the highest teachings. In His discourses, the Buddha Master has told us that there are teachings by Shakyamuni Buddha that the world has not been ready for until now that will be given to us to help us complete the “quick path to enlightenment.” It is true that holy beings came to the mandala when the Buddha Master was giving us the discourse on "What Is Cultivation?" That discourse, which can be found in the book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and on this web-site, outlines the steps we must follow on this path. This auspicious event only confirms the importance of His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu’s work in the world today.
Based on the teachings that I have received and my limited understanding of the Dharma, and the fact that we live in such an auspicious time where it is possible to progress rapidly to enlightenment, I have prepared this web site in the hopes that it will help introduce the Correct Dharma to those who do not understand Chinese. There are many books and recorded discourses available in Chinese from these two Dharma Kings, but they have not yet been translated into English.
Any errors are strictly my responsibility and will be corrected when we have His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu ’s teachings in English in a more complete form. It is so important that we all begin our cultivation of ourselves and prepare for this journey to full enlightenment and freedom from suffering.
We must not waste time!
What I say and present in this website just represent my personal sayings and understanding. I am a humble rinpoche and cannot possibly represent His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III.
I am very grateful to my roommate Venerable Akuo Lamo Rinpoche, H.E. Denma Tsemang, Bodi Wentu Rinpoche, Dharma Master and Abbess Jue Hui, and Dharma Master Ruo Hui, as well as Mei Ling Cheng, Ruby Cheng, Nan Chen, Iwen Bernstein, Katherine Hsu, Judy Kuan, Matthew Kuan, Wei Ya Kuan, Winnie Peng, and many others for their kind help with the very difficult task of translation and to my students whose questions and enthusiasm for learning this precious dharma is a constant motivation.
I am also extremely grateful to the American, Japanese, and Korean Zen Masters who guided me on this path for many years as well as H.H. Dharma King Sakya Trizin, H.H. Dharma King Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and H.E. Kalu Rinpoche whom I had the good fortune to meet and who also offered me a glimpse of what it is like to be a holy being.
My utmost gratitude is, however, to my Vajra Master, His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu and to Female Dharma King Dorje Pa Mu. Their generosity, kindness, and compassion as well as their wisdom and skillful means in teaching this stubborn, ignorant practitioner are without limit. Their patience and understanding are unbelievable. The most important dharma I have learned has come from living with this Buddha and Bodhisattva and seeing what it is like to be a holy person and live in another dimension. I have been blessed with many, many empowerments and initiations and received the blessings of experiencing and witnessing many more holy states and miracles that have been reported elsewhere. I have no words to adequately express my heartfelt thanks or to convey the depth of my appreciation. I dedicate any merit I may receive from this effort to my Buddha Master Dorje Chang Buddha III Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu and Female Dharma King Dorje Pa Mu and pray that they may bless us with their unlimited wisdom and compassion for a very long time.
May all beings acquire the good fortune and wisdom to quickly achieve liberation!
