Medicine Buddha Dharma Assembly
November 4, 2007: A Medicine Buddha Dharma Assembly was held on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Hua Zang Si in San Francisco to beseech blessings for a long and healthy life and to protect living beings from danger and obstacles. The Medicine Buddha Sutra was chanted and offerings were made to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
The Medicine Buddha of Lapis Light took pity upon living beings who have deep negative karma and heavy karmic obstructions. Thus, the Buddha expounded the Medicine Buddha Dharma Method. If one practices this dharma in accordance with its teachings, one will certainly be able to receive great empowerment and blessings from the Buddhas. Everything will be auspicious and all wishes will be fulfilled.
